Our story

At Blanchard Valley, we’re blessed with caregivers who walk with us through our darkest days. They hold our hands, fight beside us, and dedicate their lives to caring for others.

My name is Caitlin Lowery, and for the past nine years I’ve called BVH my second home. In April, at just 37 years old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. With three young daughters, I feared how we’d make it through months of treatment — until my BVH family stepped in. They lifted us up with meals, donations, and endless encouragement.

From their outpouring of love, The Pink Purpose was born — a mission to give back to the very people who give so much to us. When BVH employees, contractual employees, or their families face cancer, The Pink Purpose is here to ease their burden, remind them they’re not alone, and help them focus on what matters most: healing.
